Triton Travel (“Triton Travel,” “we,” “us”) is a travel planning agency based in Virginia. This policy explains what information we collect through tritontravel.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information You Give Us

When you complete a planning form, schedule a consultation, email us, call or text us, or join our mailing list, we collect what you choose to share. This may include:

  • Name, email address and phone number
  • Trip details such as destinations, travel dates, number of travelers, budget and preferences
  • Anything else you include in a message

When you book travel with us, we may also need traveler names, dates of birth, passport details and similar information required by cruise lines, resorts, airlines and other travel providers. We collect booking details directly from you, not through this website.

Information Collected Automatically

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site. It collects information such as pages visited, time on site, general location (city or region), device and browser type, and how you arrived at our site. This information does not identify you by name. Google Analytics uses cookies to do this.

How We Use Your Information

  • To respond to your questions and plan your trip
  • To make and manage bookings with travel providers
  • To send trip updates, documents and reminders
  • To send our newsletter or travel offers if you sign up (you can unsubscribe at any time)
  • To improve our website

We do not sell your personal information.

Who We Share It With

  • Travel providers such as cruise lines, resorts, theme parks, airlines and insurance companies, only as needed to book and manage your travel
  • Service providers that help us run our business, including our email and calendar provider (Google Workspace), scheduling (Calendly), website hosting, analytics (Google Analytics), our booking and client management software, and our email newsletter service
  • When required by law or to protect our rights or the safety of others

Cookies

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. Our site uses them for basic site function and for Google Analytics. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Email Communications

If you join our mailing list, we will send travel news and offers. Every email includes an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing from marketing emails does not stop messages about trips you have booked with us.

How We Protect Your Information

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information and keep only what we need for as long as we need it to plan your travel, meet legal and accounting requirements, and serve you as a client. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Your Choices

You may ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop sending you marketing emails. Email us at admin@tritontravel.com and we will respond within a reasonable time. Some information may need to be kept for bookings in progress or legal reasons.

Children

Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them through the site. Information about minors traveling with a family is provided by their parent or guardian for booking purposes.

Links to Other Sites

Our site links to other websites, such as cruise lines and Calendly. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed.
